Abstract: This research investigated how collective intelligence principles can improve agricultural decision-making in smallholder farming communities, focusing on cluster farming approaches in Nigeria. The study used community knowledge-based assessment methods to understand farmers' perceptions and acceptance of cluster farming as a sustainable model for accessing farmer-centric support.
Through participatory research methods and stakeholder engagement, the study examined how collective intelligence frameworks can be applied to enhance sustainable agricultural practices in Nigerian farming communities. The research contributes to understanding how community knowledge can inform agricultural policy and extension services, particularly in the context of smallholder farming systems.
Key Findings: The study revealed important insights about farmers' attitudes toward cluster farming, barriers to adoption, and the potential for collective intelligence approaches to improve farmer support systems. The research emphasizes the importance of incorporating local knowledge and participatory methods in agricultural development initiatives.
